Christmas Pictures

I didn't post any pictures from Boston for Christmas because my pictures weren't loading on to my computer from my phone.  Technology!!  Fortunately I have a very clever technology guy that lives with me who was able to uninstall the new version of iCloud and reinstall the old version of it and voila!, back in business.  So here we go.

View from Ron and Elaine's hotel room in Alexandria, Virginia.  The girls were very excited to be reunited with Derek and Tyler!

Waiting for the Metro

Ron and Elaine brought up our double stroller for us.  Having a stroller while on the Metro proved to be a pain in the neck because we had to switch trains a couple of times and they make you go WAY out of your way to get to the elevators.

If you squint your eyes just right you can possibly, maybe make out the White House in the background.
The National Christmas Tree.  We decided that it totally looks fake because of the way they decorate it.

The family of singers.

Sabbath morning on the way from DC to my parents.  We noticed it was getting a wee bit chilly.
The view from my parent's front window.  We were so thrilled to have snow this year and the girls LOVED it!

Papa and Calleigh

My parents and Duncan took the kids tubing the day after our arrival.
Warming up inside...working on an activity book.

American Girl store.

These ladies were standing around waiting to do your doll's hair for $20.  What a racket!
Newport

Our 3-bedroom suite.  My parents and Shawn and Camille stayed with us.

Mac & Cheese for lunch

Comparing Shannon's son Griffin with Colby.  Griffin is eight weeks younger but is a little smaller (you may not be able to tell that here but he weighed 15 lbs, 3 oz at his six months appointment compared to Colby at 15 lbs, 13 oz at his four month).

The cousins of the ten cousins (in age order): Mia, Calleigh, Aubree, Camden, Tyson (not in picture since he was having a melt down), Acadia, Brady, Finley, Bode, Westin, Caleb, Griffin, and Colby.  Missing: Zasha and Luccia.  Also in picture was friend Hannah.
Warming up by the fire after a swim in Newport.

My studly husband and I in Boston.  The evening before our 11th anniversary, in fact.

My brothers, their wives, and us.  First time out together!

Now that's a tree!  This is the one from Quincy Market and it puts the National Tree to shame.

Meanwhile, Gigi had the kids busy doing crafts at home.
Cheesecake Factory before the Pops

The stroll from the Prudential Center to Symphony Hall

Our view.  When we sat down in our seats, Brady asked me "What movie are they showing?"
David and Yully's house.  It was lovely.

Hanging out at Boomer's Playland in Carver.

Fun times.
Ice skating at Patriot Place (this is next to Gillette Stadium)

Christmas Eve kid games.  Picking up marshmallows with a straw and putting them in a cup.

Building snowmen.

Horseplay with Steve.
Our annual Christmas card contest.  We judge all the cards sent to my parents and pick a winner.  It's always very controversial.
Before things got under way.  We have a lot of people Christmas morning, hence all the gifts.

And it's on!

Wearing the same Santa outfit Brady did on Christmas Day two years ago.

Steve and Caleb with Duncan and Colby.

Christmas brunch is always one of my favorite things.
Christmas caroling around my parent's neighborhood. (This happened the Friday night before Christmas but I missed putting it above.)
Aubree and Penelope

Calleigh and Olivia

Bowling the night before we left.  So nice because they have the little balls instead of the big ones.

Heading home.
We made it!
